When I was a kid, whole sections of mom's flower beds would be taken by weeds. Dad would have us run the lawnmower through them. Mom was horrified "But they grow!"

i like that weed... it's pretty (much better than the ground creeper killing our grass atm... *sigh* this all sounds like drug references. :|)
