It is not that I wanted this
But it wanted me
It chased me
I twisted and turned
And danced away
To lose it
But it didn't let go
Like a shadow
It stayed sewn to my heels

So here I am
Carrying it
As I would a child
Or a victor
It is lighter
And heavier then I thought
I didn't want this
But it wanted me
